It a saying “water is life” and I can assure you this is not just a saying here in Karamoja, it’s the TRUTH. People here are dying because the lack of water and food. Most of them are collecting water from ponds that are full of diseases. Some, mostly women and young girls, are walking kilometres to get clean water. And imagine walking 5 or 10 km with a jug of 10 litres on top of your head.
But as of March 2023 we have managed to provide 63 boreholes for the Karamoja region. We praise God and bless all the donors for this great blessing.
